Laura Sánchez Carrasco is a Madrid-based Ph.D. architect and Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where she teaches undergraduate and master courses in the Department of Architectural Composition. Her current research areas are focused on 20th Century Architecture, especially after the II World War. She has participated in ArchiteXt Mining. Spanish modern architecture through its texts (1939-1975) and she is currently part of project Mapping Global Architectural Histories on Modernism, in collaboration with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), funded by the MISTI Global Seed Funds grant program (USA). She is a member of the Women in Architecture group at SAH-Society of Architectural Historians and she has been in charge of elaborating the Spanish section
