Iñaqui Carnicero is the General Director of Urban Agenda and Architecture


Doctor of Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid UPM 2015 Outstanding “Cum Laude”, having received the professional degree from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid ETSAM 1998. His research work was awarded a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome in 2008.

In addition to his professional work as an architect, he has been active in the fields of teaching, research and curating, responding to housing, urban and revitalization issues of the existing architectural fabric. His built work has been the result, for the most part, of first prizes in public competitions with a variety of programs that include Collective and Social Housing, Primary, Secondary and Higher Education Centers, Heritage Rehabilitation, Cultural Buildings and Exhibition Design, and has been recognized nationally and internationally with the following awards: Golden Leon 2016, FAD Award for Architecture and Opinion 2012, COAM Award 2012, AIA New York Housing Award 2015, Emerging Architecture Award 2011, Hauser Award 2011 and Design Vanguard 2011 among others.
